Carol L. Kerr has a Doctorate of Ministry in Psychology, from Andover Newton Theological School.  Plus, she is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of Maine.  She works using the modern techniques of psychology.  This can be combine this with the faith traditions and journey of the client.

Carol is an interactive therapist whose approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.  She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.  With compassion, understanding, and a sense of humor she helps them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing

Along with Carol's private practice in counseling she is an adjunct professor at Bangor Seminary.  She teaches the courses in Pastoral Counseling such as "Grief Counseling" and "Spirituality and Healing."
